I remember this little item being around in 2nd ed. but I haven't seen a current version of this little bad boy. Is there a source that has the current edition stats for this "cursed" potion? Also, it would be cool to learn of other cursed potions, both canon and home-brew.

I once put a potion of Hold Person in a treasury. To this day, it baffles my PCs what it actually did (as they never tried it, even at high levels).

That's still not as bad as a Potion of Liquid Disease. Just use contagion to make a potion.

I once had the party locate a rack of slender glass vials that were identical save for a single mark on each. They were the wizard's shorthand for the potions and as proof against thieves, he'd left an incredibly powerful acid in one of the bottles and added a small dweomer to make it appear magical. The party divied up the potions (I winced as one guy argued that he should have the fizzy foul smelling one) and eventually, many modules later, he drank it after making a speech to an enemy (something like "you'll regret the day you ever crossed us!"). The rest of the party scraped what was left off the floor and spent the next few modules earning the gold for a raise dead.

Good times...
