Over in This Thread , we have been discussing undersea campaigns. In addition, I started this Recruiting Notice with more particulars regarding the campaign I envision.

Mind you, the campaign will contain more than it's share of hags (as one might surmise) and will allow the use of psionics, warlocks, incarnum, and Tome of Magic. Stormwrack will of course be heavily referenced; one nemesis is an unliving blackwater hag. If you find the idea of a half-vampire sea hag dread necromancer abhorent, this may not be the game for you. ;)

Over the course of the campaign, players may visit Turucambi, the Sinking Isle, the Jungle of Lost Ships, the sunken wreck of the Sea Prince, and the undersea fortress of Drawmij himself.

I am considering a Sunday night (Eastern) game run via IRC, but this is subject to change.

I'd like to incorporate sea sprites into the campaign but without the inconvenience of requiring a player to purchase additional materials. Tome of Horrors had one, at some point; was that information ever placed online prior to publication?

Alternately I could simply use nixies, but the level adjustment is somewhat discouraging. Also, most sources regard nixies as freshwater creatures, but I can work around that (just as the merrow is typically a freshwater monster, so I made the somewhat more powerful merrow mages for saltwater).

Within the next few days, I'll be posting the campaign background for "Heirs of Turucambi". Tonight (Sunday) at 9pm (Eastern) I'll be hosting an informal pre-game Q&A session. Hope to SEA you there!

Last Sunday, I had a brief introductory adventure for "Heirs of Turucambi". The PCs encountered a merchant ship haphazardly dragging nets through the Oljatt Sea. Within the net, what appeared to be an aquatic human was struggling for freedom.

There's always room for one more!
