I'm going to be running the Original Boxed Set's adventure A Little Knowledge as a one-shot game this summer, and I'm wondering if anyone has converted all the NPCs to the 3.5e rules.

ooh...

I'd like a copy of that if you get it all compiled together.

Yeah, since nobody's answered, I've just started doing it myself.

I remember seeing it somewhere on the internet... Can't seem to find it, though.
Also, there was a slacker/quiter who was supposed to convert all stats from the 2ed material but never got to it...

Well, I'm a bit of a slacker myself, maybe I should take said slacker's place. :P

Please...there is no one who can replace me. Try and you may end up with a big sliver in your foot for your efforts ;)

That being said - I do have some of the material converted - not for that adventure - but Kam and I think squidfur had a conversion of the peeps in that adventure - or maybe it was Freedom...

not sure about Kam, but it wasn't me who had these converted. Nyt used to have some on his site before he took it down, but I'm not sure what ever happened to those. Also, AFAIK, it was only for the Freedom adv.

You guys want me to post 'em up here when I'm done? (they'll be in the new stat-block format)

Edit: Found this: Conversions of Freedom (and other Modules)

I have conversion notes for A Little Knowledge, Freedom, Road to Urik, Arcane Shadows, Faro Blossom and Merchant House of Amketch. Anyone who wants them can shoot me an email and I'll send you a copy.

I should note that not all of these have been through any kind of extensive peer-review process (Freedom and Arcane Shadows did, but not so sure about the others) so may well contain a few errors - I pay less attention to detail for home games than I did for athas.org releases. The later ones also depart from the originals in a few ways due to the way my games developed (Tethrades is a 17th level elan kineticist, for example, as opposed to a defiler) but are still useable if you don't mind a bit of customisation.

Has anybody converted the methelinoc poison from A Little Knowledge? The 2e version is a Type J poison that causes death.

Methelinoc is described on Athasian Emporium, which is on the final stages of development...

Here is the statblock for a ram from Necromancer Games Tome of Horrors. You could easily use that as a goat:

Armor Class: 13 (+1 Dex, +2 natural), touch 11, flat-footed 12
Base Attack/Grapple: +2/+3
Attack: Gore +3 melee (1d6+1)
Full Attack: Gore +3 melee (1d6+1)
Space/Reach: 5 ft./5 ft.
Saves: Fort +4, Ref +4, Will +1
Abilities: Str 12, Dex 13, Con 12, Int 1, Wis 11, Cha 4
Skills: Listen +5, Spot +5
Feats: Alertness, Toughness
Environment: Temperate mountains, hills, and plains
Organization: Flock (10-100 plus 1 ram per 10 adults and 50% noncombatant lambs)
Challenge Rating: 1
Treasure: None
Alignment: Always neutral
