Hey all im kinda knew to these forums, but i was hoping i could get some help on updating "Night of the Walking Dead" for a group of friends who im wanting to run through Ravenloft. Im thinking of having them start out using NPC classess then having them gain them through story play.

Any what i really need is the updated Ju-Ju zombie or suggestions and the updated Zombie lord or suggestions.

Plus anything else you all might have in mind... thanks in advance . Hope to see you all in the mists soon.

When I ran NotWD I just used a zombie a size bigger. (like monsterous size..) but I found this template online just a second ago.

http://www.enworld.org/cc/converted/template/juju_zombie.htm

Maybe it would help?

I ran that as my introduction adventure as well. It really isn't that hard to convert, although the unforgiving Zombie Lord death stuff was a bit much. I had to take out a few things (apparently, there are no giant frogs in 3rd edition:P ) and used a slightly weaker version of the zombie lord in the Ravenloft Denizens of Dread.

Of course, my party tried to blow up the graveyard, disobeyed every word the constable said, and almost killed the priest for "burying the living" (lol).

The Zombie Lord is a template that can be found in the Ravenloft version of the Monster Manual (Denizens of Darkness, or possibly Denizens of Dread). Unlike 2nd ed, where it was a still-living creature, it is now a fully undead creature in 3.0 and 3.5.

I'm planning on running this too, but placing it near the Boglands in Darkon. The PCs also need to retrieve a small necklace that was lost when a Kargat courier was passing through the village. The PCs would need to investigate the killings, but the secondary goal is to get ahold of the necklace, which has a sinister history - it's the same necklace that Hazlik made in The Glass Man.

This is just a tangential secondary objective, but the PCs will get a hefty reward if they deliver the lost necklace as well. They will not suffer any penalty if they don't. Near the end of the campaign arc, they will learn that the lost necklace was one of five or six items that Azalin wanted to collect to do his research into plane-breaking magical items.

You do know that there's a free Souragne Gazetteer on the FraternityOfShadows site, right?

If my memory serves, the Juju Zombie's 3.5 edition stats can be found in the Forgotten Realms suppliment The Unapproachable East which came out in 2004 if memory serves right.
