Well, I just started "Dragons of Highlord Skies" this weekend and what a surprise it was to see Trampas featured rather briefly getting turned down by Kit in a bar HAHAHAHAHA.

At least Cam got to hook up with Mina and become a Beloved :D.

LOL Sorry, Tramp-man, couldn't resist. It was quite cool to just all of a sudden see "Not now Trampas" in there.

On another point...Kit states in the first or second chapter, when speaking with Ariakas about a plan they (mainly Ariakas) are hatching, that Derek Crownguard is a Lord of the Rose. Is that consistent with the original Chronicles? I thought he was a Sword Knight. Couldn't get to my copies over the weekend and thought you guys would be able to answer quickly.

Hehe!

Okay, let's make a few things clear. Kitiara says, "not tonight." Meaning there were other nights. And we all know that Kitiara only chooses the best to be her lovers.

That's my story, and I'm sticking to it. :D

Seriously, though, that was awfully cool of Margaret and Tracy to put me in there. I'm deeply honored.

Derek has always been a Rose Knight, both in the novels and the modules. Gunthar was originally a Crown Knight in the modules, and his Order is never mentioned in Chronicles, but it's been established now that he was a Rose Knight, also.

Cam

No no no, she meant you can't keep begging "tonight" or she's going to have to finally kill you. HAHAHAHAHA

That is quite an honor, as I told Cam when he was included in "Dark Disciple".

Thank you, I was unsure if they typo'd that, or I just couldn't remember through all the cobwebs. Seems to be the latter...;) .

You mean kiwifruit, not kiwi. A kiwi is a bird or slang for a New Zealander. Kiwifruit is the name we use for what was once known as the Chinese gooseberry.

Yeah, I meant Kiwi, as in one of you, Cam. That is your homeland, isn't it? Smack Cam with a copy of himself and he's completely obliterated. :D

All of this is clever obfuscation, but it still doesn't completely hide the fact that Kitiara snubbed Trampas good and proper.

Harsh Darth. Also, Trey, Figgy was pinned to my chest after the geas was removed. I'm talking post-geas. Maybe I could have a spot in Amber and Blood. Think you can swing it DH or Cam? I could approach Mina with love in my eyes and babble like an idiot!

The truth can be like that sometimes. But don't worry Trampas, I don't think anyone in existence could satisfy Kitiara.

You might notice that I said "In existence" as Tanis does not really exist except in dragonlance books, Trampas on the other hand exists in both the Dragonlance books and the real world. Therefore he does exist and so cannot satisfy Kitiara who also does not exist in real life.

Cheesh, I never thought that I would have to explain something like this to you Trey.

Yeah, about how even IF Kit had her way with you, she totally forgot about it five minutes later as she dreamed of and lamented over having left Tanis because he's the only "man" that could satisfy her. LOLOLOL :D

I'm basing my posts on excerpts directly from "Highlord Skies", and thoughts Kit has when she finds out Tanis was seen with Laurana. So, yes, it is far more appropriate than your inane "fig leaf is the only thing you are wearing curse" posts you hijack just about every thread with in which Lancereaver posts.

Perhaps a reality check is necessary on your part Mr. Ranger? That character is not Trampas, they share a name, nothing more, nothing less.

As sad as it might be for some, DRAGONLANCE is not real.

I don't think anybody has problems discerning reality from fiction, although that's a clever way of evading Rath's point. As you so often say in response to other forum posters, if you don't want to follow along with the conversation you're under no obligation to do so.

I'm not offended. That involves a measure of investment in what was said that I don't have. I think we're just saying that this is a thread about an amusing cameo in the book and it seems to really highlight the Kitiara characterization at the same time. Take that for what it is or don't.

No, you asked a question, I answered about how what I said was appropriate considering I was relating my posts directly to the book in question and how it was more appropriate than any of your one-line responses that contribute almost nothing to a thread and do nothing but hijack most of them, really. But you didn't want to hear that, you just turned it around and attacked me by assuming I think DL is a real world (pfff get over yourself). Just as you attack anyone else on this board who doesn't have the exact same view as you regarding anything posted. I can't tell you how many times I wish Cam would lose his calm, cool, collected head and just flame the living h3ll out of you; but, he's a much better person than you could ever wish to be. Just because you can hide behind your pathetic little black robed avatar and pretend your not a total geek with no life on a message board, does not give you the right to judge me or any of the members here. I've put up with your pointless and ridiculing posts for too long and I'm sick of your crap; so just shut the h3ll up already; will you?!?!?!?!? That's the last time I'll ever give you the pleasure of a response from me; so go right ahead and attack me, I could care less about your opinion.
