I haven't used it yet, but there's an article on heraldry by Bruce Heard on an old Dragon Magazine, in the KW Grimoire series.

Aug 26, 2007 19:54:34 Most of the Gazeteers contains various coats of arms or other heraldry for their nations.

If you need new ones, one need only to do a net search for 'coat of arms' to find a LOT of stuff.

Sep 13, 2007 8:26:59 The Bruce Heard article was in Dragon issue 199 in his "the Known World Grimoire'! I have the mag in a box somewhere but haven't looked at in years but from memory it offered bonuses to certain effects or abilities depending on what was pictured in the Heraldry, mostly domain level stuff. It must have been a very interesting read as I implemented the rules in a few campaigns I ran at the time. Piazo has back issues still.

Sep 13, 2007 14:22:16 Its all good. I was just interested in knowing if anyone has used Heraldry in thier D&D games for Mystara. I have a group of semi-retired PCs that call themselves the Hammerheads do to the spelljammer they use. I havent writen up a coat of arms for the group but I did write up coat of arms for each member.
