I would like to see attention given to Planescape in 4e. I really enjoyed all of the material that was published in 2nd Ed. I liked planescape when it was a stand alone setting that could be inserted in to any game.

The material published in 3rd Ed was also good, however I really disliked the way they separated each setting by giving each one their own unique planar cosmology. I liked that each world (Oearth, Toril, etc...) were all on the material plane. Each could travel to the planes and all be on the same planes.

Being able to design your own cosmology is cool and you can easily just say that it is the same cosmology for all the other worlds. But I liked it better when that was just the way it was.

I would like to see Planescape developed as a stand alone setting that is available to all the other settings via portals and planar magic just like the way it was in 2nd Ed. Simply creating a Planar Handbook and saying that each other setting has its own unique version of planescape is not very appealing to me.

What does everyone else think? Do you want to see Planescape as a setting in 4e?

yes I really would like to see Planescape become a setting in its own right again. If it doesn't, well there should at least be some 4th ed books detailing some of the planes and their inhabitants (other than just tieflings which are apparently in the Player's Guide). However I really doubt that Planescape will be treated as a setting in its own right again.
