Looking through my Gaz V, I found this interesting little "darklord". I wanted to do a short adventure based around it, and wondered if anyone had any advice on how to get it started. I was thinking just dropping the good ol' "hey, big monster, over there! go get em!" but that seems a bit tactless for Ravenloft. I also want them to figure out that unless they kill the Lady, more Avanc will continue to come. Bare in mind, my PCs are NOT in Ravenloft at the moment, and this will be the "weekend in hell" sorta thing. My group isn't particularly clever, so I need a not so subtle but not too obvious way of making them look into local legend and stuff so they can figure out the story (or atleast part of it) to know about the Lady. Any advice would be appreciated
