Dont know if this is the right place to post this but ill give it a try.
Me and my group are goin to be converting our group into 3rd edition and we dont know where to start.  I think when 3rd edition came out there was something which could help.

If anyone knows where I can look, be it a book or site they know of that would be great.

Yes, there was a conversion kit, it still may be floating around this site or somewhere else on the web, but I would not suggest using it.

I looked it over when it first came out and the conclusion I came to was that it was not worth the effort.  The editions are just too different.  God forbid you have multi-class characters.  With all the feats and skills, you might as well be making a new character, which is exactly what I would suggest.

I think everyone needs to start at 1st level, so everyone has a feel for the game before getting to the advanced character abilities.

if you don't have it. do a search on this site in the D&D section (not the message boards) for Conversion guide.

I just decided that the unprotected trek through time and space was far too traumatic for their frail mortal bodies, and thus were returned to level 1. Cheap, but I didn't want any skill arguments or anything.
