Hey fellow G-hawkers!!! I haven't DM in along time. I sent this thread a while back, but i haven't been online for a while so here we go.
I have collected the 3 part series the Barrow of the Forg. King, Sinster Spire, and Fort. of the Yuan-Ti.

The campaign starts in Kingsholm which is in the edge of Keoland i think. The 2 questions i have is whats the exact location of the town?

The 2nd question is the town is pretty generic from the module standpoint. The population of the town is 1,720 what local establishments would add to the town to give it some flavor?

The [1st] questions i have is whats the exact location of the town?

I don't think Kingsholm has been established in the Flaneass beyond the adaptation document provided for running APD7-05 Barrow of the Forgotten King. All it tells us is that Kingsholm is in the Good Hills. So, western Keloand sounds like a good place. Maybe somewhere between Blacktop and Plim's Delve - but it does not have to be.

what local establishments would add to the town to give it some flavor?

Maybe the Good Hills Union can have a chapterhouse there or some other kind of office. Maybe Count manz can have a presence there too, in the form of merchants/prospectors loyal to him. I think that the presence of knights of the watch and knights of the dispatch is okay, too. I'm sure others who know the area much more than I shall have better ideas.

... were can i find this iinformation.

I think the best free resource is Gary Holian's "Kingdom of Keoland" article from Living Greyhawk Journal 1. Living Greyhawk posted that article HERE. Browse through that article. It won't provide every detail, but it should give you something to work with.

Information about the Good Hills themselves can be found in a lot of places, from the World of Greyhawk boxed set, to From the Ashes: Atlas of the Flanaess, to the Living Greyhawk Gazetteer.

I hope this helps a little. I am far from an expert on the area.

First, I would suggest getting Scourge of the Howling Horde as a 1st level adventure. Barrow is best with 2nd level characters, so Scourge is set up as a lead in, and it is a great adventure.

As for location, as noted, the LG site for Barrow is in Sterich. Scourge is set in the Domain of Greyhawk, but I would ignore both and just set it wherever you like.
The adventures do not really require much in terms of surroundings, the main thing is the background of the forgotten king. You might want to consider adapting that, as I do not think it fits well with any current nation of the Flanaess, unless you make the forgotten king some old Flan guy.
