Thread Title : Polymorph Other + Locate Object

What happens if a character casts Locate Object to track down a weapon of one of his companions that has been polymorphed into a Chiken ?

The spell description says that his items are melt into his new form so i believe that his Friend will be able to track down his weapon that is still with hm!!

Right; although the wizard might be confused to find that his spell is pointing him at a chicken.
