I'm usually the last one in the loop, but I finally got back to reading Amber and Iron, and it's so awesome. I sent a message to Margaret Weis asking when we can expect Amber and Blood, and she says May 2008. So if you didn't already know that, there you go!

Yeah, I just actually found out yesterday while Christmas shopping on Amazon.

Next year will also see the Raistlin edition of the Lost Chronicles series. Amazon shows it as a July release.

As excited as I am to get my hands on each of these books, I'm approaching them with fear as well. They mark the end of the best authors in fantasy leaving our favorite world.

That scares me as well. Even worse is the position I'm in, being so bent on having each book in paperback because 1. it's compact and 2. all my other books are paperback. With this problem, I will be stuck knowing it is over, but not knowing how it ends for almost a year while I wait for paperback editions.

I'm paperback fan as well. I may just hit the library to read the stories though. I'm dying to see where Ms. Weis takes Mina in her last foray through Krynn.
