I have just purchased the 3e Ravenloft campaign setting and I plan on running my players through it soon. Just to make my life much easier, do you guys know where I can find maps for Expedition to Castle Ravenloft that I can print out and use?

Why not simply google for "Ravenloft maps"?

P.S. : Expedition to Castle Ravenloft can not be considered a Ravenloft campaign setting.

So who does make the campaign setting? Expedition is the only book I have of Ravenloft and it looks to be an interesting campaign.

All the maps from "Expedition to Castle Ravenloft" are available here as JPEGs:

Indeed it is.

White Wolf´s Sword & Sorcery published the 3E Ravenloft campaign setting and Wizards/TSR the 2E one.

Check out the Ravenloft FAQ on the Fraternity site: http://www.fraternityofshadows.com/FAQs.htm Especially question I.3 for the history of the Ravenloft setting. The site also has a list of all published Ravenloft books and reviews of most. Also check out the forums there: http://www.fraternityofshadows.com/forum

Oh and welcome to the Mists!

I thank you all for making me feel so welcome. Now all I need is a ruler, a pencil, 100 sheets of paper, and to get my players stronger.

The Expedition to Castle Ravenloft is Wizards making a 3.5 ed adventure based on the old old 1st ed. adventure: Ravenloft. It's set primarily in and around a castle with a vampire and his thralls. The vampire is the lord of the realm.

The campaign setting for Ravenloft is hybrid 3E/3.5 and it's done by White Wolf. It features an entire world of dozens of realms governed by different lords. The vampire from the original Ravenloft is still present, but he's far more powerful than in the EtCR incarnation.

Gah! I finally found a Ravenloft PHB online, but that may not be good news for my wallet. The cheapest one I could find was over $60!

The 3.5 ones are very expensive (I don't think they made alot of them), but the 3.0 ones aren't that much, I got mine for 15 dollars. Try to search for the Ravenloft Campaign Setting instead of the Ravenloft PHB. The 3.0 campaign setting is nearly compatible with 3.5, and I'm told that the 3.5 one was just filled with useless crap that very few people used.

Well, my parents have gotten it taken care of and I plan to take my friends into the mists at the end of January.

$ 60 is a bit much for it, esp when you can get the RL core book for around $ 10. Also some parts of the RL PHB are very critically acclaimed. The (3.0) Ravenloft Core book contains enough to start a 3.5 Ravenloft campaign.

As for purchasing, read the following thread on the FoS boards: Help finding Ravenloft books: Interesting auctions and links. Post if you need more specific info or have question and/or check out the review section on the FoS site.

The maps that Wizards put out for Expedition to Castle Ravenloft's web expansion are pretty good. Check the site for Expedition to Castle Ravenloft maps.

Apparently, FoS hates me. They have banned both my e-mail and my username before I even signed-up. Joy.

FoS has problems with more popular emails, like hotmail and yahoo. Try to find a less popular one, like gmail or some other random free email. Its not you, it was other people, but the forums ban the WHOLE email, not just the person. Happened to me too.

My understanding is that it is Gmail that causes most blocked user account set-ups. I have never had a problem using Hotmail addresses.
