#1 ravenloftlover347 Dec 26, 2007 18:37:17	Are the shadar-kai a breed of Arak? Their description makes them sound like they would be. Would any be found in the Shadow Rift now since the gate had been opened?
#2 CatmanJim Dec 27, 2007 8:14:05	The Shadar-kai as written in the Fiend Folio are natives to the Plane of Shadow. It would seem unlikely that they would be able to survive their shadow-curse for very long if trapped in Ravenloft with no ability to ever return to the Plane of Shadow. Of course, the Dark Powers could intervene & adjust the curse so that they would need to return instead to a specific location within the Shadow Rift, if you really want to include them in your campaign as a race rather than as just a rare visitor.
