Whatever happened to the NWN Project? Did anything ever come of it? The website sits dormant... and only 2 servers are currently running a Mystara mod--One is heavily modified and the other relies on unobtainable hak-paks...

Is there anyone interested in reviving the project? Or does nobody play NWN anymore?

Tons of questions,
Roger

I think Neverwinter Nights 2 happened. I wasn't involved with that project (modding is not my thing), so I could be wrong. The Mystara based modules for NWN were fun. Not sure if Mystara mods have cropped up for the sequel. I haven't gotten NWN2 yet, but I plan on picking it up at some point.

I'm not sure, but I don't think NWN2 really impacted the NWN1 community all that much. Too many problems with NWN2, no (initial) DM Client, difficulties with creating mods, high graphic requirements, etc. Not to mention that Atari is no longer supporting NWN2 at all (the sequel is the last one there is going to be, IIRC, and I don't think there's a live team like Bioware had).

I could be wrong, as I haven't played either game in quite some time.

The Mystara NWN project didn't get very far along at all, though- I think it was defunct before the game was released, or at least not long afterwards.

What hakpaks aren't you able to obtain? They're not available on NWVault or any of the associated sites?
