I have a variety of note on my hard drive for a FY 1015 Darksun Campaign and I've posted some of them here before.

I'm thinking of transfering them to a word document and tidying it up and maybe posting them on a thread here, Ideally I would like to cover the Tyr region and I have most of the work done on the cities. Mostly its fluff but scattered around on my hard drive I also have house rules , prototype alternate Dragon rules, initiate feats, regional feats, new feats, etc. I could email the word document to anyone interested and you can edit it or pretty it up or do whatever you want to it.

Would anyone be interested in actually running a game set in that timeline. It would take a few hours or more for me to finish the notes off to a stage suitable for presentation. The fluff could easily be used in 4th ed and I can concentrate on that 1st.

I don't get time to play any more but I'd love to see your ideas. I'm a bit of a fluff monster.

Heres what I have ATM. Still going through everything.

17 pages Players Guide to Athas (crunch+fluff)
5 Pages FY 1015 Campaign (fluff)
5 Pages incomplete Athasian Dragon tables. (crunch)

Going through other pages as well like my history of Athas work I've been doing.

I can send you any sections you want on a word document or copy and paste them here. Its gonna take awhile to put everything togather and it may add up. Most of it was done on open office and I'm trying to convert it all to word and put it in some semblence of order.

Thanks, sounds cool. Just let me know when you have everything together and I'll take it all. Or you can post it here, whatever is easier for you.

I'lll probably mash it into several documents (Players Gude, Grand History of Athas, DM's Guide to Athas). Not sure when it will be done but I didn't reallly wanna do it if no one was interested. Even found a half completed short story.

Wouldn't Athas be destroyed by then? The planet is not really going to last much longer after the scenarios described in the original Dark Sun releases. The sun will have gone kablooie by then.

In my FY 1015 campaign idea the Cerulean Storm can be siphoned off for extra rainfall. Atahs has actaully gotten slightly better in the years since the Prism Pentad.

Ok, I guess that would work. It would be cool. My favorite thing to do though is have someone free Rajaat (by accident or on purpose) and have almost no one know except a few powerful people, who send their minions after the party. But then again, that's me, not you.

I'd like to see how your game goes.

Does anyone have any idea what Rajaat would even think or feel about the current affairs of the world should he actually get out of his prison. To the best of my knowledge all he got to see, within the last few thousand years, was the paradise that was Ur-Draxa.

Based on what little I know of Athas and the published history (I know, not the best reference to use) Rajaat was also a preserver of sorts and by the sounds of things something of a naturalist (i.e. tree-hugging-earth-lover-hippie). Just a wild theory here, but if Rajaat escaped he might be the best thing to befall Athas, the planet anyway. The existing cultures may be flat-out doomed as I'm sure Rajaat would like nothing more than to see the SK's suspended head first in a volcano with their impure followers marched off into the silt.

Might be a over-plot for your future Athas Zardnaar.

I was planning on updating the campaign to FY 1015 by basically going through the 1st boxed set and updating the locations. I haven't thought out to much metaplot beyond that as I generally don't like it-a'la Prism Pentad.

Yes. It is worth your time.

Get a free website, like geocities or freewebs and "Publish" your work on the internet so others can view it.

Another Dark Sun website out there is a good thing.

This is turning out to be bigger than I thought. At the minimum Athas FY 1015 is gonna cover

8 City States of the Tyr Region
each location mentioned in the original boxed set

maybe
Blue Shrine
Kurn
Saragar
Kreen Lands

Its around 16 pages and counting now. Needs editing but I'll post it here broken up into several posts in 1 thread for feedback. Probably be my 4th ed DS campaign setting.

I've got the cities more or less covered and the villages from the original boxed set. About to start on the oasis and points of interest. Wouldn't mind a group effort as several ppl here are beter at writing than me. Wonder if I can get anyone to playest the scenario for me.
