Kind regards!

PS: What is the "MMB-tiquette"? Reply with quote? If so, below or above it? There are 2 other ways of replying (quick and the "+" sign)... help!

Both are acceptable. If you Reply with a quote, then delete anything unneccessary. Reply below relevant quotations, or in bewteen once you figure out how that works...

Good to have you back, Vini! Like you, I also regularly read the MML (and join in on once in a while) but I find the forum here a little more convenient to use. Both places have great discussions though so I'd never leave one for the other.

I wanted to quote the original msg (by GenghisUber), but only Havard's msg appears.

I'm a lot more used to the old PHPBB.

Still concerning replying: can someone pls explain me not only the etiquette (thx for doing it!) but also how weach of the 3 buttons on the right and the one on the left work?

TIA ! ! !

No problem. Starting with the one on the left, the 'Post Reply' button, it just opens a message window. However, you can highlight text and then select the 'quote' button just above the message window to quote it; or you can type (QUOTE)*text*(/QUOTE) to do the same thing (replace all the () with [] ). Also, to have it so that the quote says "Originally Posted by *name*", type (QUOTE=*name*)*text*(/QUOTE).

The buttons along the right, starting with 'Quote'; It places that entire post in the (QUOTE)*text*(/QUOTE) tags. It is good to delete parts of a post that are not relevant if it is somewhat large to save on space, and keep things clear.

The next is the 'Multi-Quote' button; I've played with it but haven't quite mastered it yet. :D I just copy-paste from posts, put the QUOTE tags around it and then put in who said it using the =*name* addition.

The last one is the "Quick Reply"; it just opens a message window at the bottom of the page.

The best thing is to experiment (I did a lot of that) and ask questions as they come up (I did a lot of that too! :D ). Hope this helps a bit.
