The following is a work in progrees. I need 2 more skills, 1 more feat and to reword some bits which are kinda awkward. Very open to feedback and sugestions. I haven't included spells and powers yet but once again suggestions for them are open.

Combat Gear: +3 defiler bane* metal dagger, +6 Bracers of Armor, Cloak of Resistence+5,

Psionics: All Pyreen manifest psionics as a level 13 psion. DC 16+ power level
Spells: Pyreen cast spells as a level 16 Druid. DC 19+spell level.

Druidic Powers: Pyreen are treated as level 16 Druids and gain all class abilities. Any Druid levels a Pyreen takes normally stack with these levels.

Pyreen’s Grace: All Pyreen add their charisma modifier to saving throws. In addition they add their charisma modifier as a deflection bonus to their AC and gain extra hit points equal to their charisma modifier multiplied by their hit dice.

*Defiler Bane: Weapons crafted with the defiler bane property are rightly feared by all defilers on Athas. Against any defiler a defiler with arcane spells currently prepared or spell slots available to cast a Defiler Bane weapon's effective enhancement bonus is 2 higher than normal and deals an extra 2d6 damage. Additionally the weapon will glow with a pale blue light (5' radius) whenever a defiler is withen 100'. The weapon will not glow should a defiler have any method that would thwart a detect defiler spell. Defilerbane bows, crossbows and slings bestow this ability upon their ammunition.
Moderate conjuration; CL 8th; Craft Magic Arms and Armor, dispel magic; Price +1 bonus

Armor Class: 30 (10 base, +4 natural armor,+6 deflection, +5 armor,+5 dex)

Abilities: Str 12, Dex 20, Con 16, Int 22, Wis 28, Cha 26

Just a quick look, but I noticed this right off.

Shouldn't it be:

AC: 33 (+4 natural armor,+8 deflection, +6 armor,+5 dex)

Otherwise, looks good.

You are absolutly right. Even half realised it was wrong as I done it and added a +4 natural armor bonus to buff the AC. THink I'll tweak some of the ability scores as well. Wisdom could be to high.

You are aware that these are included in Legends of Athas, right? And the way that they are written up encourages that they be individuals, as they can take class levels on top of their racial abilities.

No I haven't read al of Legends of Athas yet. Sometimes I prefer homebrew stuff though.

Just had a look and its a good write up but has a coupke of flaws. That Pyreen doesn't qualify for the Augmen sumoning feat and has more hp than its max hit dice+con rolled would allow it. Apart from that its quite good. I'm not happy with my write ups cha bonus to AC but it didn't have enough hit poins for its challenge rating. I suppose I could up its con and let it have maximum hit points. Also as written they get Druidic spells even if they take levels in another class which seems kinda odd.

Follow the link in my sig. I think that it gives power and flexibility. Not that homebrewed stuff isn't great, but feedback on what we have done (or even just looking at it) might make things easier on you. No need to reinvent the wheel.

Can't see the link. You should see my Dragon rules I've got written up. Took me hours to do the table as I didn't like the official rules. Interesting hw we both added cha bonus to AC and saves though- odds are my Avangions will have the same thing.

Just click on the name of the product. Sigs are only in the first post on the page.

Can't see the link.

Under Edit Options, you might have added cnahumck's name into the forum's Signature Ignoring field. Be aware also that the box called Display signatures multiple times per page (Normally signatures are only displayed on the first post of a user on a page) is checked off by default.

Thus, if you can't see cnahumck's signature, it means cnahumck has posted before on the page. You will find his signature in that post.

Jumbled run-on sentence & a spelling error.

Bingo I haven't added anyone at all to some sort of ignore list. 7 years here and I'm still learning something new. Found it via google anyway and basically repeated what I said there hopefully in a nice way. I have the flue today and have the day off work so hopefully I can catch up on DS stuff to read through as I haven't read all of Legends of Athas or the Emporium yet.

Yeah as I said I'm not happy with some of what I've written. Any suggestions on how to reword it as I'm not the best writer in the world.
