The main D&D page has an obituary tribute to Gygax, as he passed away today. In tribute to his legacy, I will run one of his modules this weekend.

To the Father of Gaming: you are remembered!

Yes, very sad

We are having a massive gaming weekend this weekend so I am also thinking of some way to honor mr Gygax then...

Rest in peace Gary. D&D was the source of a lot of love and joy for me, and was definately an improvement upon my life. Thanks for all the good times.

My first D&D experience was playing Keep on the Borderlands. And that's where my current Mystara campaign started was with the Keep.

Hail to the chief.

Sadness

I am sure that all of us will feel a lot of lack, because his work was pioneering, and his legacy lives until today.

Rest in peace, old master.

At the risk of seeming callous, I'd like to point out that xkcd ran a tribute for Gary (read the mouseover-tag on the image): http://xkcd.com/393/

I'll be running Tomb of Horrors at my FLGS tomorrow in tribute. I've pregenerated the enture party and have brought lots of spare characters.

Waiting to see who puts their hand in the mouth. You all know the one. Classic, absolutely classic.:D
