Hi guys and gals,
I know there are some people here that have a much better grasp of some of the area names on Athas (squidfur), but with all the maps and game material (I have none of the novels) I've been able to find on the subject I cannot locate the names of some predominate locals.

For ease I'm only going to reference mountains found on the original box set's foldout map. (For Now)
The nameless mountains so far are:
  • Group south east of Raam (Bleak Shore).
  • Two east of the Blackspine Mtns.
  • Chain surrounding Altaruk. (not having the name for this one really bugs me)
  • Nearly surrounding Kalidnay to the east.
  • Between South Ledopullis and Balic.
  • Ways east of Bodach, plus a few others south of Bodach.
  • South east of The Dragon's Palate (Sun's Home area)

Thanks for any help.

The mountain range north of Raam is the Kreegill mountain.

I've made a few game north of Kalidnay. I called the mountain there; The Kalidnay wall.

The mountain south of Raam is where I place the silver mine.I called the mountain there; The Giant maw.

The nameless mountains so far are:
Group south east of Raam (Bleak Shore). - (it's Break Shore btw) The 2nd DS monster compendium, as well as at least one other source that I don't remember off the top of my head, named these mountains as the Mastyrial Mountains.

Two east of the Blackspine Mtns. - unnamed in any official source, but to be fair, not really a mountain region, just two mountains

Chain surrounding Altaruk. (not having the name for this one really bugs me) - kind of silly IMO as well, but this one has gone unnamed as well

Nearly surrounding Kalidnay to the east.
Between South Ledopullis and Balic.
Ways east of Bodach, plus a few others south of Bodach.
South east of The Dragon's Palate (Sun's Home area)

all of these have gone unnamed, officially, as well

Thanks for the Mastyrial name, I thought I could count on you for help (you da man... or woman... or something else :D ).

Now about the others... If there's no official names for them and Athas.org is as official as we get now-a-days, would it be plausible for us unwashed masses to submit some ideas for use?

I've got a great system. Name all the mountains ranges like so.

Zardnaar 1
Zardnaar 2
Zardnaar 3

etc etc.

Theres a pattern in there somewhere. I works as well:P

I was thinking more along the lines of naming the mountains around Altaruk something like 'The Altaruk Range'; I'm also liking Pringles' 'The Kalidnay Wall' idea. But IF you insist on calling ONE of them Zardnaar, talk to the staff.
