Hi fellow gamers,
I had some questions that I believe only you of the 'Out of Print' section would know.

I've been running a FR campaign right around the fall of Myth Drannor.  And even though I have the Campaign from 2nd ed. I still need some stats on some enemies.

Where can I find them for Nycoliths and Mezzoliths (spelling) the generals of the Army of Darkness?

For some reason I`m thinking that the one monster first appeared in the GDQ series.....I think your best bet is Fiend Folio 1st Ed.

I could be wrong though...I`m at work and my books are at home. But I`m almost positive that it was Fiend Folio.

Thanks for the help...

I'll check the Fiend Folio, but they are supposed to be just huge devils...so what would you suggest if I can't find them?  Like a big Pit fiend or something?

I just wanted the original because in the storyline they sound a heck of a lot cooler than any pit fiend.

I'd have thought TSR9558 - "The Fall of Myth Drannor" would have detailed stats on those creatures.  I have it in PDF form, from the D&D website some time ago.  But I can't seem to locate any playable stats on either beast.  :(

2nd Edition stats for Nycaloths and Mezzoloths are found in MC8 Outer Planes, or alternatively in one of the Monstrous Manuals for Planescape (I guess).
The Fiend Folio (and thus 1st Ed. AD&D) names were Nycadaemon and Mezzodaemon, in case that you acquire a copy and wonder. ;)

Actually, the best printing that I can think of on these two creatures is from Monster Manual Monsterous Compendium I (its a paper back monster manual, primarily dealing with the outer planes).

Essentially, Mezzoloths and Nycoloths are Yugoloths, but not nearly as powerfull as pit fiends. Mezzoloths are actually the lowest ranking Mezzoloths and Nycoloths arent too far up the latter from the Mezzoloths (however, dont take this with a grain of salt because their innate powers are phenominal, coupled with their ability to gate, they can be an incredibly powerful advesary).
