The title was "The Forbidden Sands of Anauroch", I was only able to get the first 2 issues and haven't had any luck finding the rest of the series. Does anyone know anything about this? Like where I might be able to go to complete the series? I could use any & all help I can get. I'm extremely frustraited, the comic store that I shopped at it seems just didn't get them in. I'm not even sure that the series was ever finished as a release? And I've had no luck in finding any for sell on the net. Thanks in advance for your help. Peace out. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- [Post 2] Author : TheHitPointe Date : 12-11-03 01:16 PM The publisher was an Italian company called "Twenty-First Century Games" which was better known for its 1999 release of miniature AD&D 1st Edition rulebook and boxed set reprints. They also had a line of foldup cardboard buildings usable with 28mm mini's. The company went out of business after releasing the 2nd volume of their hardcover Forgotten Realms comic series "The Forbidden Sands of Anauroch" and thus, sadly, we will never know what happens in the unreleased volumes. (We still have a couple copies of Volume One available for sale if anybody's interested.) -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- [Post 3] Author : Vikingman10 Date : 12-11-03 02:02 PM Thread Title : Thanks much... ....for the info TheHitPointe, I really do appreciate even if though it's not the answer I wanted to hear. What a shame, the quality of the comic was excellent I thought. Someone should try to pick up and finish the series and maybe continue the style with new storylines. Could possibly introduce the Forgotten Realms to new readers in the future. Peace out.:) -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- [Post 4] Author : Vikingman10 Date : 12-11-03 02:19 PM Thread Title : Thanks much... ....to TheHitPointe for the info even if it's not what I wanted to hear. I really appreciate it. What a shame someone else hasn't finished the series with the original writers and artists, I thought it was extremely well done. Wizards of the Coast should get this done, the quality of the comic was excellent and it would be nice to see this continue with new storyline, which could bring new readers to the Realms in the future. Peace out.:) -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- [Post 5] Author : realmaster Date : 02-23-04 03:31 AM I found a PDF file that told that #3 was cancelled due to lateness and #4-6 was cancelled by previews. I am trying to collect the mini reprints that twenty-first put out and it is becoming a long road. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Downloaded from Wizards Community (http://forums.gleemax.com) at 05-10-08 08:19 AM.
