Thread Title : A book of inventions?

I heard there was a 1E book, that had various inventions in it.  I do not know exactly what any of them were.  But does anybody know what i am talking about?

The book is called "The Book of Wondrous Inventions".  TSR9220 if you can find it anywhere.  It is terribly amusing, but not necessarily useful, imho.  The cover shows a gnome king on his throne, giving the thumbs down to a handful of gnomes standing in a smoking pile of rubble from their latest contraption gone wrong.
