Thread Title : How good is 'I,Tyrant'

I am thinking about purchasing the Monstrous Arcana portfolio about Eye-Tyrants which is named 'I, Tyrant'... 

I am not quite sure if the book is good... aka does anyone know and can recommend it...

I do own 'The Ilithiad' (about Ilithids) and this was a very cool book with a very cool artwork and manymany stuff about Ilithids... I dearly munched the book in a whooop and loved the details about them...

So how is 'I, Tyrant'?

It's very good, on a par with "Illithiad", and thus miles better than "Sea Devils".

"I, Tyrant" is the single coolest, most useful book I have ever bought. It makes me wish I had bought the other 2 monstrous arcanas.

If WOTC started putting out material like this again, I'd go broke trying to get it all...

If you have a chance to pick up a copy, don't let it slip through your fingers! Nab it, quick, before anyone else can!

I've got the Illithiad and The Sea Devils, and both are great books.  Illithiad has more magic items and optional rules and than The Sea Devils does, and I'd assume I, Tyrant is the same; but both are chock-full of great information about the cultures, gods, habitats, outlook, and sample cities.
The Monstrous Arcana series is definately worth picking up if you plan on using these popular creatures in your campaign, or if you just like great D&D books.

Another :thumbsup: for I, Tyrant. I downloaded both that and the Illithiad books and they were well worth the 5 bucks. The book has great variations of the beholder, maps, ecology, and on and on.
