He's had it all sitting in his closet since he was twelve and I was hoping someone here would have an idea. Here is the list of what he has: AD&D DM Guide 1st ed. 1979 D&D men and magic vol 1 by Gygax and Arnesson Monsters and treasure vol 2 the underworld and wilderness adventures vol 3 all 1974 D&D supplement 1 - Greyhawk by Gygax and Kuntz supplement 2 - Blackmoor by Dave Arnesson supplement 3 - eldritch wizardry by Gygax and Blume supplement 4 - gods, demi-gods, and heroes by Kuntz and Ward all 1974 all in very good condition. he has the Chainmail book from this era as well but he says it's somewhere in his house and he would have to look for it. also box full of lead miniatures including first ever Gandalf figure, orcs, druids, etc.. many of these figurines are numbered 2's 3's 4's and 5's as in ever made. Also first dragon figurine. Any info would be appreciated. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- [Post 2] Author : Artifact Date : 01-23-04 04:22 AM I think with a publish date of 1974 the materials you mentioned would be "first printings" of some of the very earliest D&D products. Since they are in good condition I'd say they could be quite valuable. I have most of these products in good condition, but these are not first printings; mine are 4th and up printings. I got supplements 1-4 and Chainmail at a used bookstore for pocket change (so the value definately drops with later printings). I would definately suggest that you do a search on eBay for these items to see what their value on the "back" market (I don't have exact values, but many early, first-run supplements in good condition do sell for a decent amount). Hope this helps. Good luck :) QUOTE]Originally posted by Solaris Some values: http://acaeum.com/DDIndexes/Rulebooks.html [/QUOTE] A quick edit: I just found this on another near-by thread and thought it might be helpful. It is what someone is willing to pay for it  I found D&D "DM Guide to Immortals" and "Player Guide to Immortals" for $1.99 each and they break down gods as just other types of beings in the Multiverse that "govern" what they "squat" on :D It also has the most intricate discussion of Comology and Shpere's and god "rifts" and dimensional vortexes that can kill even gods and Overgods that make gods (like Ao in Forgotten Realms) and the Unbergods that make the Overgods and "Immortal Projects", how certain types of immortals can only be killed permanantly on their home plane, Avatars types, and so on an so forth $1.99 was a bargin. :smirk: -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- [Post 4] Author : Greenhat Date : 01-23-04 09:25 PM the 1974 books and the supplements can go for anywhere from $100 to the highest I've ever seen $500. It depends on condition and print. The white box set, if older then the 6th print, can draw more money becuse then contain references to hobbits and ents. Condition of the box the three volumes came in add to the price. www.acaeum.com/DDIndexes/SetPages/Original.html check out this site for info and prices -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- [Post 5] Author : Smeadows Date : 01-24-04 12:45 AM Thread Title : Thanx all for the info..
