There is a commercial website that sells downloads of D&D books and stuff.  As far as I can tell it is legal, but I'm not sure.  I can't post the link here, but if you send me a Private Message I can pass the info along to you.  Take care and have a great day....

PS  Just checked on the website, and it is legit.  It is run by the folks who used to run WoTC's online store.  I think that if you google a search for the company owner/pres and downloads, you'll get the link.  The gentleman's name is Sean Vanderdasson.  Forgive me if I'm violating at message board rules and regs.

There is another book that you will want, it titled "The Will and the Way" it was for Dark Sun but can and is used in other settings.
