The Vaults dnd.starflung.com (http://dnd.starflung.com) is an obvious one. Thibault's Website http://www.mystara.addr.com/, is another excellent site, especially for maps. Ofcourse, I must humbly add my own Blackmoor website (URL in my signature), which is currently only dedicated to Blackmoor, although I may decide to include more Mystara stuff in the future. I'm curious to see what other sites people can recommend! :) Havard -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- [Post 2] Author : katana_one Date : 03-23-04 08:17 PM My own humble Mystara page can be found at: http://www.angelfire.com/games4/mystara -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- [Post 3] Author : Chosen01 Date : 03-24-04 04:12 AM Mystara-3E (http://mystara3e.starflung.com/home.htm) Mystara 3E Project Team Yahoo! It has alot of excellent 3e conversions, that I will be incorporating into my campaign immediately! :) Thanks for posting the URL. They're useful. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- [Post 6] Author : Byron's Ghost Date : 03-30-04 01:14 AM Since some other people had sites linked, I re-vamped the site I did for my last Karameikos game, found here: http://www.missouri.edu/~mjmb73/Secrets/ Essentially it's just an intro to the setting for new people, there's nothing really in the way of rules. I started the campaign with B10 (Night's Dark Terror), hence the references to Sukiskyn etc. We never finished, unfortunately. Veterans to the setting will see that there's some changes from the printed Gaz material; I tend to customize things in my games quite a bit. I've gone with a more Roman version of Thyatis, for instance, and alters some of their Immortals to suit this. Also of interest may be a reinterpretation of the Song of Halav, linked to from the Church of Traladara page. Hopefully this will give some more setting info to new people, or some new ideas to everyone else. For other sites that I've liked, for my Glantri campaign I got a great deal of use out of the Glantri Personnell Division - http://www.geocities.com/principalities_of_glantri/ - and the Paparazzi Glantri - http://www.geocities.com/paparazzi_glantri/. The last one was especially good for the newbies, as the social articles and rumors give a concise & amusing look at the way things work in the Principalities. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- [Post 7] Author : havard Date : 04-01-04 06:54 AM Byron's Ghost: Since some other people had sites linked, I re-vamped the site I did for my last Karameikos game, found here: http://www.missouri.edu/~mjmb73/Secrets/ Wow, this looks like a pretty interesting campaign. Do you always prepare this much information before a campaign? I think it is a great idea. The changes you have made for the setting are are intersting aswell. I like the name Appolonius for Ixion. Who uses the name Ixion then though? :) Havard -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- [Post 8] Author : Byron's Ghost Date : 04-02-04 12:54 AM I like the name Appolonius for Ixion. Who uses the name Ixion then though? Not me- I've never really cared for the name. ;) Sort of lacks oomph, but that's just my opinion. Actually, I'll probably keep it for the Red Steel campaign, as it sounds more like an angry sun god for the Navarez (sp?) church. As for the level of detail, well, sort of. Partly this was a project to teach myself HTML, and I sort of got into a groove and ended up doing a lot more than I intended. Plus, since I work in Tech support, it's not hard to spend half the night typing away on things like this. Also, most of my players were unfamiliar with Mystara, and I wanted to filter the info they got rather than just referring them to some other sites. But I do like to go into a lot of background detail in my games, doing handouts with clues, that sort of thing. In one campaign I had my players complaining because of the typos I was making on the handouts, they couldn't tell what was intentional (ie something their characters could look into) and what was just a DM mess-up. :D -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Downloaded from Wizards Community (http://forums.gleemax.com) at 05-10-08 09:25 AM.
