Other resources? Greetings, I have been out of the D&D hobby for about 10 years or so now, but about a year ago or so my wife and I go into a 3rd ed. group at my college just for something fun to do on friday nights. The group only lasted about 4 months or so, and to be honest 3rd ed. wasn't to my taste. There are some things I liked about it, but in general it didn't do much for me. In a few weeks I'm graduating (finally) from college, and I am going to try to get back into the swing of things and get a D&D group going again using a combination of 1st to 2nd edition rules/materials with some 3rd ed. stuff thrown in. I have downloaded a ton of pdf's from svgames, and also own the Dragon CD-Rom, a great compilation. Does anyone know if there was ever a similar compilation of Dungeon magazine? I used to own about everything ever made for 1st edition, plus some 2nd edition stuff, but all of my stuff was lost due to a fire. So, I am trying to gather up stuff to at least start playing again, and also to build a campaign setting and generate my own house rules system, while I begin the tedious process of looking for old edition books to buy for my library. If anyone knows of a Dungeon compilation, or other link/resources/stores besides svgames that deals in old edition stuff, your help would be greatly appreciated. After being out of the game for so long, its tough to get back into the swing of things, and I was hoping some other old timers aroung here like myself might be able to help. Thanks in advance for any info. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- [Post 2] Author : blackprinceofmuncie Date : 04-24-04 11:53 PM There is no Dungeon compilation and inquiries on my part to WotC indicate that there won't be due to legal difficulties with reprinting/rereleasing some of the material in the magazine. If you're interested in buying hard to find OOP stuff, here are some good sites to check out: [url]http://www.nobleknight.com [url]http://titangames.com [url]http://dragonstrove.com Good Luck! -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- [Post 3] Author : Gandalf_Istari Date : 04-25-04 01:19 AM Thread Title : ! Ahhh, tis a shame.... Well I suppose I should be satisfied that Dragon at least got put onto disc, as that is such a great resource for D&D campaigns. Still, Dungeon on a disc compilation would be great. Thanks for the links! -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Downloaded from Wizards Community (http://forums.gleemax.com) at 05-10-08 08:20 AM.
