That's 2nd edition, though. Are you talking about 1st edition? What do you mean by "sorcerer?" The 3rd edition version? I don't remember seeing anything like that in previous editions, but then I probably wouldn't have noticed it if I had. Maybe there was a version in the 2E Player's Option: Spells & Magic book. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- [Post 3] Author : Sildatorak Date : 04-28-04 05:37 AM The only 2e sorcerer that I can think of is the kit from Al-Qadim. Since that has an elemental based magic system, you had sorcerers that cast from 2 elemental provinces and the universal province (as opposed to elemental mages that just had 1 element and universal). They are the mages of that campaign setting. If the Dragon you're talking about is old enough (~'94 IIRC) then it might have something from al-qadim that has a sorcer in it. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- [Post 4] Author : metagamethinker Date : 04-28-04 09:34 PM Yeah the wild mage is from tome and blood my friends just got all the books and he needed to know which ones i needed, but anywho i wasnt for sure about the sorcerer its just been like 8 years since I played 2nd ed. and wasnt for sure just keeping my options open.:D -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- [Post 5] Author : metagamethinker Date : 04-28-04 09:35 PM O yeah and thand for the help:bounce: -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- [Post 6] Author : Falstaff the Fighter Date : 04-29-04 11:00 AM I believe the sorcerer that became the model for the 3e version was also mentioned in the RPGA's Living City books. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- [Post 7] Author : metagamethinker Date : 04-29-04 06:05 PM You guys are the coolest:cool: -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- [Post 8] Author : SilverFoxKnows Date : 05-03-04 11:55 PM Thread Title : Nahal's Reckless Dweomer is a fun spell. I did end up with reptilian footprints, though. I think my Wild Wizard/ Priest of Beshaba was probably my favorite character I ever played. Good luck with that.
