Thread Title : CM5 Mystery of the Snow Pearls - any good?

For years I have been looking for CM5 "Mystery of the Snow Pearls" which is one of the few C modules I haven't read yet.

Now I have found it at www.dragonstrove.com for US $ 20.00 and an additional US $ 9.00 in shipping. But then I also read the following:

1) That it is a SOLO adventure

2) That it is one of those "go to 21 if you want to go left, go to 22 if you turn right" scenarios - i.e. not one for a DM and a player but just for one player.

3) That it should come with some special red googles allowing the reader to view "secret writing" in the module - but that this system does not work well and only gives you a headache.

So, does anyone know the module? Is it worth $ 29.00? (after all, it is a collector's item) What sort of material is inside? (Where does it take place, is it a cool story-line, interesting new NPC's and items? etc. etc.)

Hmm... it doesn't really sound like it is something I would enjoy - being a DM looking for Mystara material.
