we have those but they don't have the whole that we r looking for. it only show parts of the maps. we r looking for the whole realms

Karen Wynn's "Atlas of the Forgotten Realms" might be found in a used book store.

Of course, there's always the icky 3rd edition (http://www.nwncityofarabel.com/faerunmap/pages/frMap_01.htm) version.  Slightly different, but kinda the same.

there were two trail maps also from the mid to late 80's

Waterdeep and Kara-Tur.

when placed together they cover most of the FR

As diaglo suggested, there are the trail maps which cover a great majority of the Forgotten Realms. They do not include the Maztican continents, though. 

As far as I know, the only way to see the entire world, is via the globe feature in the official Forgotten Realms Interactive Atlas CD-ROM software. I think it's out of print, now, but you can probably find it on e-bay.

Ebay and amazon.com both have it, Just did a search. I have this and it is worth every penny.

Thread Title : Forgotten Realms Interactive Atlas CD-ROM

I have been looking for Forgotten Realms Interactive Atlas CD-ROM for use with the core rules 2 and expansion, but have been unable to find it anywhere. 

I checked eBay, but no luck. Amazon claimed to have a used one, but when I added it to my cart, they said it was no longer available (plus they wanted $120!!!). 

Any ideas?
