I have Isle of the Ape and Isle of Dread. Anyone know of any others? What about modules from older Dungeon magazines? -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- [Post 2] Author : Retquarkn Date : 07-13-04 09:42 AM If its still in one piece I do recall having the 2e module for FR's Vilhon Reach more of a mini setting but there were still things that could be done in the area Yuan-ti and Wemics and such in a tropical sort of setting. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- [Post 3] Author : Thailfi Date : 07-13-04 10:25 AM Well, one of the all-time classic 1e modules is set in a jungle. Dwellers of the Forbidden City introduced the D&D world to yaun-ti. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- [Post 4] Author : Kheldren Date : 07-13-04 10:42 AM X6? Quagmire for OD&D - this is not just jungle, but is mainly swamp/jungle. It also has that most enterprising of wilderness encounters - the herd of wild mules... -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- [Post 5] Author : rogueattorney Date : 07-13-04 11:44 AM X6 Quagmire! and I1 Dwellers of the Forbidden City have already been mentioned. C1 Hidden Shrine of Tomoachan has an Aztec styled temple in a jungle. Technically, N1 Against the Cult of the Reptile God and DA2 Temple of the Frog are set in swamps, but could probably be turned into jungles pretty easily. WG6 Isle of the Ape, like X1 Isle of Dread, is set on a tropical island. Much of X9 The Savage Coast is set in a jungle. Much of the Hollow World setting is jungle, in particular, HWR1 Sons of Azca and HWA1 Nightwail are set in a Central American Aztec style setting. Most of these are pretty good. However, I don't recommend X6 and X9. They're pretty awful.
