Is there the Kenetic Barrier psyionic devotion in 2nd ed.?

Yes, it is in the Dark Sun campaign in either the High Level Campaign accessory (Dragon Kings I think it was called) or the Way of the Mind accessory.

There isn't one that I'm aware of. The closest thing is Kinetic Control which is a psychokinetic science. In fact that's the only psionic power with the word "kinetic" in it that I see.

It's neither in Dragon Kings nor The Will and the Way. In fact, it's not on either the Will and the Way or the Revised Dark Sun Boxed Set list of psionic powers and both of those were complete (book of psionics, dragon kings, will and the way, new powers). So, to the best of my knowledge and memory such a thing did not exist in 2e.

If it does somebody else will have to give you the location because my tired old mind can't find it. :)

It's there, but not under the name "Kinetic Barrier."  My books are in storage at this moment so I can't really run over and take a look, but I'll try to before tomorrow.  I'm thinking that it's in Dragon Kings.  A power that lets you create a movable barrier versus missile weapons, sort of like the wizard spell Shield.

In that case I'd suggest starting with Kinetic Control. I'll do a search later on if somebody else hasn't found it already. :)

Telekinetic Barrier is probably what you're looking for, and it's in the Will and the Way supplement. If you Google up "kinetic control psionics" or kinetic barrier psionics", you'll find it at a major US university. That's all I'm going to say. Let your conscience be your guide. :twitch:
