Do you utilize matial arts in your 2nd Ed. games? I utilize the martial arts system from the Oriental Adventures book and have canabalized every single article online and in the Dragon Magazine Archive disks to do so. The current number of styles in my campaign number over 50 and have proved tobe pretty good for adventure seeds as well. Anyone have an opinion on the idea of martial arts in game play; good or bad? Is anyone interested in adding such a thing to their campaign? -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- [Post 2] Author : realmaster Date : 12-09-04 05:10 PM I am playing a fighting monk out of the priests handbook in my second edition game and having a great time. I know most players are either for it or against it; few are in between. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- [Post 4] Author : Graendahl Date : 12-13-04 08:06 PM Love it, in fact I am partial to Oriental Campaigns, seconded by Planescape. umm there is a pretty decent Tournament format in OA6 Test of the Samurai I believe, though it rely's heavily on flashy descriptions, and on the fly deciscions by the DM, as oppossed to to strickt rules lawyering, and dice slaving. hmm, second-guessing myself, I think it might be in OA 5 Mad Monkey, or that might just be a decent set of rules for martial art dueling. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Downloaded from Wizards Community (http://forums.gleemax.com) at 05-10-08 08:15 AM.
