Thread Title : Ironwolf's Hexmapper

Been looking at various other mapping utilities lately (Thorf's got me wanting to "upgrade" from Paint), and thought I'd give Ironwolf's hexmapper a try- only to find that he's no longer hosting it at the site he originally had it. Haven't seen him around in a while, so I don't know if he's still lurking about or not, but if not, did anyone else download it, and would be willing to send it to me?

BTW, I only just realized what a boon it is to have a system that automatically "paints" your tiles without having to do closeup work and "click" them together like I do in Paint... I could have been saving myself literally hours of mapwork if I'd have upgraded sooner... oy.

Thanks for the link- it's not the same program, but I've been meaning to try out hexmapper for a while now anyway. It's interesting- I really like certain elements of the program (primarily the way you can just "paint" hexes into place- so much more efficient than my program). It's got its downsides though, but I'm still toying with it. 

Getting Illustrator soon for various reasons- and looking forward to trying out Thorf's hex system.

Great!  I'm sure you won't regret buying Illustrator.  It takes a little while to get used to how it works, but once you work out how to use it it's an incredibly powerful program.   :D
