Basically, it's a carbon-copy of AD&D 1E heavy on the hack&slash. It's produced by Kenzer & Co and most of the modules they have published up to now are based on old 1E accessories. What has it got to do with the Known World? Plenty.. Check this: http://www.kenzerco.com/periodicals/kodt/KoDT_100.php Scroll down a bit and download the pdf "Beneath the Little Keep". It's their version of the old B2 module. Granted, it's not 100% the same but the (full color!) pictures of the keep are to die for  -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- [Post 2] Author : Hugin Date : 03-21-05 06:02 PM Check out the Hacklopedia Mystarica: The Guide to the HackWurld of Mystaros (http://www.mystaranet.jamm.com/vaults/html/hackwrld.html) on the Vaults of Pandius for some more info. Added: I couldn't open the PDF file, it said there was an error! :weep: -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- [Post 3] Author : Joe Mason Date : 03-21-05 06:49 PM Man, the tone of that stuff makes me even less interested in HackMaster than before. (Which was "not at all".) -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- [Post 4] Author : rogueattorney Date : 03-22-05 12:39 PM Yeah, I'd characterize the statement that Hackmaster is "a carbon copy of AD&D 1e" to be... inaccurate. But the picures of the Keep are cool! I didnt have a chance to look at the pdf untill now. I am actually thinking about buying the HackMaster module, just to flesh out Castellan Keep (see the other thread). Has anyone used the additional information provided in Return to the Keep on the Borderlands with Mystara? It was written for Greyhawk, but it could be interesting to reinterpret that information for Mystara surroundings... Well, with due respect to the author, it was written for Greyhawk poorly, and is more useful for its references to the other B series modules (officially placing B1 in the Cave of the Unknown, for example, oh, and btw, Maruda is Madarua from B4). I use both Return to the Keep and Little Keep to flesh out areas of B2 that Gygax left vague, and I always toyed with the idea of a dungeon beneath Castellan's Keep, so the PDF was a joy. Hugin: Re: errors opening the document. Are you using an older version of Adobe reader? Acrobat has some annoying backwards compatibility issues, might be the cause of your problem. Either that or a corrupt download. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Downloaded from Wizards Community (http://forums.gleemax.com) at 05-10-08 09:28 AM.
