Thread Title : Lankhmar & Conan

Hi there!

Have any of you tried to use 'Conan The Rolplaying Game' as a framework for converting 'Lankhmar' to D&D?  Reason being, I recently noticed that concepts like 'Fate Points', the 'Scholar Class' and the 'Religion' sections appear quite close to describing aspects of Nehwon. Any thoughts?

I must just add that I really do hope that WotC produces a campaign setting / sourcebook for Lankhmar - in my opinion, it is long overdue....

There is a sourcebook for Lankhmar, produced in both 1e and 2e formats.  It's out of print, but this is, after all, the Out of Print forum, so that's not likely to bother most of us.   :)

I have a vague memory that there was an AD&D setting of Lankhmar, but I am also fairly sure that someone currently has the licence for Newhon (remember Fritz Leiber OWNS this world) and it is not WotC - so they won't be doing it D20, though someone else might...
