I've been saving them for years, but I'm never going to play with any of them again, so I'd like them to go to a good home. What kind of market is there for this stuff? Is it worth anything, or should I just donate it to the Used Gaming Fund? Also, is eBay the best place to buy/sell older D&D materials, or is there some sort of secret old-school gamer's store somewhere? (I haven't been able to find an FLGS that sells used RPG stuff, even though I live in New York). -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- [Post 2] Author : caeruleus Date : 05-12-05 05:57 PM There's a classified forum on these boards you can try. Can you list what you have? -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- [Post 3] Author : weasel fierce Date : 05-13-05 02:12 AM Ebay is a good way to sell them too. Main rulebooks will fetch nothing, as they are generally common. Supplements and modules can be fairly valuable, especially the rarer ones. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- [Post 4] Author : Eliza_Stormwhisper Date : 05-13-05 05:46 AM If you happen to have a 1st edition Monster Manual, I might want to buy it from you. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- [Post 5] Author : rogueattorney Date : 05-13-05 10:24 AM Ebay is probably the place to go. http://www.acaeum.com/ will give you some idea as to what your stuff is worth. If it's not listed in the price guide, there's a valuation forum that might give you a hand. I posted a list of what I have on the RPG Marketplace thread: http://boards1.wizards.com/showthread.php?p=6170619#post6170619 -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- [Post 7] Author : Ourph the Mingol Date : 05-13-05 01:20 PM See the sticky thread at the top of the forum. Many of the places listed there buy used stuff (or even take it in trade for new gaming books). Most of them will give you a decent price without the hassle of eBay or Amazon. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Downloaded from Wizards Community (http://forums.gleemax.com) at 05-10-08 08:16 AM.
