Thread Title : 2nd edition: are there pdfs available of the core books?

Just for fun, I want to re-imagine 3rd edition as if TSR might have made it. I'm basing the idea on 2nd edition and its many supplements. Does anyone know if the Players Handbook (and any others) is somewhere on the internet in pdf form? I would like pdf as I can copy verbage directly from it.

I believe PDFs can be purchased through RPGNow & SVGames.

If you can find a copy of the old "AD&D Core" CD-ROM product, it had RTF copies of just about all the 2e books.

.pdf's are no longer available at SVGames.  They are still available at RPGNow and tend to go for less than $5 a pop.

Core rules 2 CD-ROM came with about 10 to 12 RTF books on it.  The core rules 2 expansion had about 30.  and at www.evermore88.com you can download more add-ons including one for the Complete Necromancer RTF but you only get the complete necro if you install the update which requires on of the core rules 2 products.
