Thread Title : Monster Rxn Roles

If I have a neutral to lawful party that comes across some chaotic evil monsters do I have to roll for their rxn or do they just attack?  Why would they be friendly?

(I'm playing solo, btw)

I would say it depends on how the party approaches them, and the chaotic evil monsters' past experience with humans/demi-humans similar to the party.

If the above considerations yield no sensible answer, then roll the dice!

depends on the monster. If its a solo-game, I'd assume most monsters are there to eat you ;)
