Arentela is "a distant island homeland", a "draconic kingdom".

In the Vaults website there is a non-canonical description for this kingdom:

Anyway, the information about Arentela is canonical:

Respen ak Tarkis and Arentela were first mentioned in GAZ4: Kingdom of Ierendi, in the adventure at page 27. Respen ak Tarkis is a red dragon who enters the Crown Competition because he is in search of powerful adventurers (companion level) that can help him retrieve the title of Prince of Arentela, who has been usurped by another dragon.  

I think it would be better to check the GAZ and read the whole story. I am not sure that Arentela has a definite location on Mystara...

By the way: a little research on the Web showed that 'Arentela' was the ancient name (in XI century) of the village of Saint Helene, in North Eastern France. 
In the following centuries this name changed to 'Arentelle' and then 'Argentelle', a term that can be approximatively translated with the word: 'silvery' (it could give some hints about the Mystaran kingdom of Arentela). In modern times, this name was inherited by the river (Arentelle) that flows near the village.

A draconic kingdom would be quite primordial, wouldn't it? Sort of like a lost world area. You'd want plenty of space for all the dragon territories, plenty of large animals as a food source. You'd need a diversity of environments to suit the prefences of the dragons, so mountains (with glaciers), forests, desert, swamp, etc.

"Draconic kingdom" seems rather grandiose a term though, imo. After all, it wouldn't be a civilised nation, would it, it'd merely be an area dominated by a high concentration of dragons, living alone in their lairs and plotting against each other.

Of course, you could take a slightly different approach and have "draconic kingdom" simply mean a kingdom ruled by dragons, not necessarily a kingdom of dragons. This might have more potential for adventure, as any human or demihuman populace ruled by dragons would have every reason to be interested in politics. ;) I mean, their society would be strongly influenced by whether it was the Reds or Golds in power, etc.
