Hi I am a newer member of this threadstem but D&D is my favorite game and my favorite past-time... and this is what I have to say: I realize that wizards of the coast has a lot of projects out there and they are sometimes hard to keep up with others out there in fact the only 2 things that wizards of the coast did bad was create dual masters and that pony stuff... but they... don't need to fear rivalry in the card and toy department because yu gi oh is boreing! Yes a complete snore! They try to kill eachother over a card game that I would burn the cards to right in front of the biggest yu gi oh fan out there then in form him/her why Magic: The Gathering is the origin of all card based games and that there is no real summoning from cards... The anime (if you can call it that) has no material... yu gi oh dosn't act innocent, he dosn't eat a lot, he talks more than he acts, and the only reason why he wins anything is by chance... oh wait it is a cartoon it is set up that way... Build a deck with these cards in mind (listed above) Step 2. You might want to add cards that get stronger off of cards you have in play and other people have in their hand. Step 3. while playing wait until you have the following in your hand: Leveler and wrath of God, and a General's Kabuto in play on the feild (and of course enough mana to cast all of the spells' costs). Step 4. Play Leveler and equip the General's Kabuto with it on your next turn (have every single one of your creatures attack this turn except for of course the leveler) Then on your next turn use Wrath of God, your leveler with the General's Kabuto will not be effected by this... unless other rules say differently then use your Leveler to take out all enemies... This might just work because the Leveler takes out all decks from the game when it comes into play and Wrath of God takes out all cards except for ones with similar resistances to that of the General's Kabuto... so only you remain... You might also want to have spells that can take out an enemy's hand, their lands, their graveyard, and their artifacts before you use this strategy. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- [Post 3] Author : ameph_josos Date : 12-12-05 05:05 AM Thread Title : Make a comletion from D&D to AD&D3.5 WotC Here is what I want: Every single Class Every Single Race Every Single Monster with all features Every Single Feat Every Single Skill A basic explination for alchemy mixtures Include Psionics Include from all subsections of D&D: Forgotten realms and all of it's contents, Dragon Lance and all of it's contents, Ravenloft and all of it's contents, all others I know that I am forgetting right now and all of their contents as long as it is under the D&D logo, and the worlds. Connect everything through the D&D World Serpent Inn The Inn will connect everything and give the ability to explain everything, add in the Black Rain in the game, Enable multiple summonings at once like in Diablo II, use the health potion Idea like in Dungeon seige, bring some sort of mystic will like from baldur's gate into the picture, but have most spells use up mystic will and be only usable once per day between rests. Allow Multiple NPC's to travel with you, Increase the difficulty so it seems like you have to have a party in order to survive... until you are beyond the power of allies... allow characters to gain more than 60 levels... at least 100 but they don't have to level up that greatly and can keep a high-end experiance curve... this allows for more playability and mastery. Include the ability to Swim, Jump, Climb and Ride creatures in the game. Have the ability to Have a familiar and and animal campanion at the same time. Allow PC marriages (not needed but might add more realistic gameplay aspect) Allow PCs to possibly marry NPCs (that way they can always be by your side.) Because there are so many feats allow at least 1 more to be taken. Allow Alchemy-created creatures to join you on your quest. Allow the ability to command your NPC allies as a general (for a more realistic rts aspect yet remaining in the RPG realm and oc course have it rely on their attitudes and your charisma and the combination of the situation and your realationship) Don't get me wrong I really enjoy every aspect of D&D but I think it is time to forge alliances between the far different universes and solve most of the problems. The combinations of the aspects will make a strong bond and you can always make it later in the D&D universe not at their current timeline, but I am not talking about a modern setting at all much less a future setting, their time setting is perfect.
