I'm referring to a powerful kick move for the revamped mystic. The move in my redo of the mystic is primarily a move learned by Wu Shu artists. For a description of the move itself go here (http://boards1.wizards.com/showpost.php?p=7146692&postcount=41). Ochalea seems to be the most Chinese based location in Mystara, so it is fitting for Wu Shu to originate there. Since there isn't a Great Wall of Ochalea that I'm aware of, maybe someone can help me rename this move to represent something in Ochalea, especially since this about the only place for a mystic to learn this move. I'm stumped here. Any suggestions, no matter how silly, are welcome. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- [Post 2] Author : Spellweaver Date : 12-18-05 10:29 AM Thread Title : Walls Since there isn't a Great Wall of Ochalea that I'm aware of, Well, it is not in Ochalea, but there is a great wall in mainland Alphatia (mentioned e.g. in the Wonders of the World thread by Hugin) and if I recall correctly, isn't there a huge empire with a huge wall on the old world map on the inside of the old Companion or Master boxed set from the 80ies? Have to dig it out to make sure... :-) Jesper -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- [Post 3] Author : tjedge1 Date : 12-18-05 03:23 PM Maybe the second one you mention might work. I don't know anything about it though. The Wall in Alphatia might not go over too well since Ochalea is usually under Thyatis control. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- [Post 4] Author : Culture20 Date : 12-18-05 06:46 PM Tortle / Rakasta Masters of Torasta on the Savage Coast would probably be mystics in the "fighting monk" sense. They might call The Great Wall maneuver La Escarpadura Grande in Espan (referencing the "cliffs of insanity" found in the SB)? The Lupins have a large wall in Renardy, but I doubt the Torasta experts (except maybe in the free Tortle tribelands) would reference it. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- [Post 5] Author : yellowdingo Date : 12-19-05 12:28 AM Thread Title : The Great Wall of the Republic of Darokin Established over some 150 miles of Northern border linking Forts in the Far north west to Corunglain to keep Humanoids out of Darokin was built in 1011AC. The Wall is 50' high. At a cost of around 1,000,000gp per mile. Other great projects include 20' wide cobblestone roads at 100,000gp per mile and 20'deep/50' wide canals at 750,000gp per mile. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- [Post 6] Author : tjedge1 Date : 12-22-05 08:19 AM The Rakasta reference sounds like a good idea, but it is pretty far from Ochalea. I'll consider that at least. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Downloaded from Wizards Community (http://forums.gleemax.com) at 05-10-08 09:29 AM.
