I'm trying to help out some DMs I play with, and one thing that keeps coming up for one is that he feels he can't give us a challenge. He's responded by matching us up against truly idiotic numbers of scrubs. So I thought to find or create "Monster Units" like the Munchkin enemy 1,431 Orcs. While posting here I've learned that Dragon Mountain had a way to make "Lots of Kobolds" tough without making for tediously combats. I can't find it. I suppose I'd appreciate it if someone directed me to a place selling it, but I am exceptionately poor, and so is my DM who so sorely needs help making combats interesting. I'd be very grateful if someone could direct me to a site where the text of the book is available, focusing of course on how it makes scrubs dangerous. The same is true for other books that help make D & D staples more challening or interesting, like the Orcs, Trolls and Goblins. Jormugundr Each of you is entitled to your own opinion, so long as you realize mine is superior. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- [Post 2] Author : chatdemon Date : 06-08-06 12:08 PM I suppose I'd appreciate it if someone directed me to a place selling it, but I am exceptionately poor, and so is my DM who so sorely needs help making combats interesting. If you really want to use the adventure, I recommend searching EBay for it. As far as beefing up "scrub" monsters though, try googling "kobold tactics" or "tucker's kobolds". You'll find a lot of interesting articles and discussions on various forums. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Downloaded from Wizards Community (http://forums.gleemax.com) at 05-10-08 08:18 AM.
