Thread Title : Found This Old Audio Cd Game!!

Hey all I just found and bought this Old Audio Cd Game Its called Glantri:Kingdom Of Magic.Never heard of or seen any thing like it before.It was open and got it for $5 from  my local goodwill store along with some 2nd editon adventures like dark sun and such,and surprised  everything is still in there it didn't look like the person who had it even touch anything inside.Anyone else have this or the others they made?

I have an old 2e Mystara adventure that includes a CD,  that's sort of a sequel to Castle Amber.  Perhaps it's in the same series as yours.

Yes, it was a short-lived attempt to port Mystara to AD&D2e, which included also another boxed set, Karameikos: Kingdom of Adventure.


It appears they made three of them.  Interestingly yours was designed by Monte Cook.

However, he only did a rules conversion from OD&D to AD&D. The original design of Glantri and its many NPCs, magic schools etc. was done by Bruce Heard in the "Principalities of Glantri" Gazetteer (http://reviews.dnd.starflung.com/select.php?id=3).

You may find most of them as ESDs as well (some are not so easy to find otherwise).

I'm glad to hear that someone found those CDs useful. Most people seem to suggest that they were the reason why the AD&D Mystara line failed. 

IMO the Red Steel CDs were much better than the ones from the Mystara line proper.

There were four AD&D Mystara products that included a CD and two Red Steel ones.
