Thread Title : Tome of Battle/Savage Coast Secret Passes

The excerpt (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/iw/20060706a) from Tome of Battle: The Book of Nine Swords looks, on the face of it, that it could be used as a basis for the Secret Passes of the Savage Coast.

Looks like another 'must-buy' book. :)

I'll be interested to see more of the system, although I am wary of a system that requires feats for every manuever/stance.  Too bad they didn't show a little more of the mechanics.

As I understand the system, the feats enhance the manoeuvers. The manoeuvers, themselves, are more like spells/psionic powers. IE you get so many depending on your class (one of the new classes in the book). Existin/other classes can take individual manoeuvers but have to spend a feat on them.

As you say though, a look at the mechanics in the book would be useful.  :)
