Does anyone remember an old adventure (from Dungeon magazine I think-no idea of issue no.) where the payers are a team of monsters? I remember playing an Orc Witch Doctor (I think there was an Ogre, a Goblin, & a Were-rat as well). As I recall, there was a good ranger you had to face - I used him in my plot to off the Were-rat! I think the plan went:- 1) Convince Were-rat to infect ranger. 2) During the combat, Were-rat becomes victim of "Friendly-fire". 3) After Were-rat is dead, offer ranger "potion of healing" (potion of delusion!) as peace offering. 4) While ranger was distracted, cast light in his face. 5) Help Ogre to kill ranger, then loot bodies. :evillaugh -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- [Post 2] Author : goblinqueen Date : 08-18-06 08:46 AM I do remember a module that had the PCs as monsters, but not well enough to place the source of the module - I was a character not DM. It seems like it was a long time ago in a galaxy far far away ... -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- [Post 3] Author : Ateth_Istarlin Date : 08-18-06 09:18 AM Are you thinking of "Reverse Dungeon"? that was a stand-alone module where the payers are monsters defending a dungeon. The adventure I'm refering to was in a magazine (prob. Dungeon, but poss. Dragon). -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- [Post 4] Author : trevg Date : 08-19-06 07:22 PM I remeber the module well. We had played it and then were railroaded into keeping the characters for several months. I remeber the characters but not the name of the module. Glitch the Goblin thief / Burt the Ogre Fighter / Krosh the Witch Doctor MU / Cleric / and a wererat something.
