A Cyberboard gamebox for D&D Module X10 can be downloaded here (http://rapidshare.com/files/4058035/cyberboard.zip.html). Cyberboard is a multi-platform, freeware client for running boardgames on the computer and over e-mail - it allows users to build game boards and game pieces, roll dice in-game, and e-mail turn files back and forth as desired. The app itself, and more info, can be found here (http://cyberboard.brainiac.com/). The gamebox I've created includes the following features - - A copy of the Known World map as presented in Module X10, updated to use GAZ-era map symbols. Lake and ocean coastlines are unfortunately ragged (I couldn't find a good way to smooth them within the Cyberboard client), and there aren't any city or country names (wanted to import a spiff Mystara-styled font, couldn't), but everything else should match well. I'd welcome efforts by other parties to fix these holes. - Copies of all counters included in X10, both army units and fatigue/camp markers. Launching a new game based off "X10-rabs.gsn" should allow players to play through the Great War as presented in the module. - Source images for both creating the Known World map and the counters. Gamers who wish to use this material to build their own modules and scenarios can do so freely, as long as original credit is provided as appropriate. The gamebox does NOT include any of the module text from X10, information or rules for the Great War, or War Machine information. You'll need to have a copy of the module to run the Great War - Paizo and other online distributors sell PDFs at an excellent price. One final note - the gamebox link noted above leads, at present, to a Rapidshare site for hosting free downloads. I've no idea how long the file will stay online. If Shawn gets a copy of the gamebox hosted on the Vaults, I'll endeavour to provide an updated, stable link. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- [Post 2] Author : Barons_man Date : 05-07-07 12:58 PM Thread Title : Re: X10 Cyberboard Gamebox Is the gamebox still available? -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Downloaded from Wizards Community (http://forums.gleemax.com) at 05-10-08 09:25 AM.
