Just wanted to find out what issue did Dragon stop writing about 2nd edition?From what I've been able to find they stopped at #273.

I think the first exclusively 3e issue of Dragon mag was issue #280, but I'm not sure.

It was issue 274 that introduced 3e. (I just looked it up on my shelf.)

I'm not sure, however, if the issues just before still gave 2e material, or if it was just generic stuff that could be used regardless of edition.

Yeah 274 it is (just checked after I got home).  In the pre-274 issues the material was all for 2e, except for the "count down to 3rd edition" articles.  From issue 274 onwards all game-related material is 3e.
