A book with any background and Statistics for Vecna, either in full form, hand, eye, etc.. I want to use him in a campaign The book that has the statistics for Not only Lord Strahd Of ravenloft, but Also lord Soth. So I can finally answer who is stronger and put them into a fight with one another as well as get some character ideas for them The book of monsters that actually has infernal beings listed by name. IE: Asmodeus, abaddon, mephistoles, beelzebub etc The Deities and demigods that has the melnibonean mythos and the cthulhu mythos both. And some of the old monsters compendiums where it lists the infernals individually with pictures and complete backgrounds/battle tactics etc. Instead of one picture showing 5 different kinds of baatezu or tanari or yugoloth. picture by creature basis to have a fair illustration of everyone individually ya know? ( think those were second edition monsters compendiums 1&2?) ( want all the infernal types "baatezu, tanari, yugoloth" because I am creating another bloodwar hopefully mwuahahaha) Think thats all for now -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- [Post 2] Author : Fulnitus Date : 12-11-06 04:20 AM Thread Title : Re: Looking 4 various Older D&D books Hey, on the books you're looking for (at least for 2nd edition, which is my domain ;) having titles when looking helps: Vecna as a demipower is in Deities and Demipowers. If I recall correctly, the hand and eye (and various other parts) and also his stats again are detailed in the ' die vecna die' adventure. (Although the hand and eye actually come up in various publications). Domains of Dread contains the latest 2nd edition stats for many Ravenloft lords, including Lord Soth. The 'guide to hell' should have most of the info on specific Baatezu you want. Planes of chaos gives some abyssal lords, as does hellbound: the blood war. Most useful I think would be 'on hallowed ground'. Anyways, Planescape materials are the way to go here I'd say. I think there are wikipedia pages full on this subject (use 'dungeons and dragons' in your search to omit the religious stuff), there are probably lists of who appeared in what publication (e.g. search for abyssal lord, there you get such a list) The 1980 Deities and demigods will give you both mythos. Make sure you have a first/second edition when/if you get it. Afterwards they had some trouble on copyrights and such and stopped using the stuff. For the individual fiend types, get the planescape box and the additional two (three?) compendia. No, by books are not for sale, try online auction houses or refer to the sticky on OOP material. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- [Post 3] Author : Mortepierre Date : 12-11-06 10:36 AM Thread Title : Re: Looking 4 various Older D&D books A book with any background and Statistics for Vecna, either in full form, hand, eye, etc..
